The excursion operates rain or shine. While the train coaches are enclosed, your picnic stop is outdoors, so checking the weather forecast and bringing rain gear if needed is recommended.
Is the train wheelchair accessible?
We are not ADA Accessible. There are three steps with handrails that must be climbed to enter each car.
Can I bring alcohol for my picnic?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Beer, wine, and other seasonal beverages may be available for purchase onboard the Station Pub for guests who are 21 years of age or older with valid identification. Please Note: alcohol must stay on the train and cannot be taken to the Spring Dam area.

Yes. Advance reservations are highly recommended, as seating is limited and this seasonal excursion often sells out.
